Delivery and Excavation
We safely transport your trees to your home. We dig the planting hole exactly two to three times wider than the root ball, but no deeper, to prevent the tree from settling over time.
Proper Placement
The tree is carefully placed so the structural root flare is visible above ground level. We backfill the hole using a native soil and root stimulator.
Staking and Watering
If necessary for wind protection, we professionally stake the tree and provide a deep initial watering to eliminate underground air pockets and settle the soil. (Staking is an additional fee, contact us for more details)

Spring and fall are the optimal seasons. The cooler temperatures and increased moisture help root systems establish before the tree faces the harsh stress of summer heat or deep winter freezes.
Do I need to water my new tree every day?
No! In fact, overwatering is a leading cause of new tree failure. New trees require deep, slow watering a few times a week (depending on the season) rather than a light daily sprinkle. We will provide you with specific watering instructions based on your exact tree species and soil type.
